Building Campaign - Board President's Message

Board President Dave CoxDear Prospective Patron:

The Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) has been helping people in our communities for over 30 years.  They have grown from a small organization of professional nurses helping people deal with illness through homecare, to a well trained staff of over 65 professionals helping with adult daycare, home medical care, and hospice service.  There is probably nobody within Forest and Clarion Counties that has not directly been helped by the VNA or that does not know someone that has been under their care.

The VNA has come to a cross road in their organizational life.  They are presently working from buildings in the Knox area that are not adequate to meet their current needs or future expansion.  To that end, the Board of the VNA has decided to pursue the construction of a new facility that will meet their needs now and for years to come.

We are all aware of the good that this organization has done for the quality of life within this area.  We are also aware that the medical profession is moving toward home healthcare as a viable alternative to hospital stays.  VNA offers the healing properties of being able to stay at home, while having the professional staff to deal with health issues.

I am asking you to consider a donation towards this worthwhile and necessary project.  We all get inundated with donation requests, but if you measure the good this organization does for all of us who live here, you will surely be able to find some amount that would help make this idea a reality.
