Building Campaign - Questions and Answers

What is the goal of the Building Fund Campaign?
The goal of the Clarion Forest VNA Building Campaign is $1,500,000.00.

Who will own the VNA’s new office building?
Through your generous support, the new office building will be exclusively owned by the  Clarion Forest VNA, Inc.

Who will be asked to contribute to the Building Fund Campaign?
To reach the campaign goal, the communities in Clarion and Forest Counties will need to support the campaign.  Industries, businesses and individuals will be asked to contribute and will need to respond generously.

May pledges be used for honorariums or memorials?
Yes, gifts may be used as a memorial or to honor an individual

May pledges be paid in payments?
Pledges may be paid over a period of three to five years.  Payments may be made annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly.  Clarion Forest VNA will also accept payments via the website, www.cfvna.org, through a secure transaction. 

Why make a pledge rather than a cash donation?
A cash donation will certainly be accepted and appreciated.  However, experience has proven that the pledge method is the most practical way to achieve a goal of this magnitude.

Are contributions tax deductible?
The Clarion Forest VNA, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization which is seen as an appropriate status with the Internal Revenue Service for tax deductible contributions.  Gifts to the VNA may be deducted as a charitable contribution to the extent the law allows.

Are stocks, bonds and property acceptable gifts?
Gifts of assets such as stocks, bonds and property are welcome and they may provide special tax advantages to you.  The campaign office can provide additional information or you may wish to consult with your tax advisor.

How much should I give?
Only you can answer this question.  No one else can presume to tell you what you should give.  Your decision should be based on your interest and concern for the services provided by the VNA in the greater Clarion and Forest Counties area.
