2008 Flu Program
CFVNA in conjunction with VNA Extended Care Services will be conducting an influenza vaccine program for patients and the public again this year. We will be following CDC guidelines by immunizing high risk individuals at Senior Centers and VNA patients and their caregivers starting in October.
VNA has a limited amount of flu serum available. Call 814-782-3036 to make arrangements to have your injection scheduled in the Shippenville office. For persons who are homebound and travel would be difficult- the agency can administer the shot in the client’s home for a small fee.
Payment options: Cash or check at time of vaccine. We are able to bill Medicare Part B and UMWA, however Insurance card must be presented at time of vaccine.
Note: We do not accept secondary insurances or HMO’s such as UPMC Medicare, Unison, Freedom Blue, Security Blue, Gateway, etc. Also, we do not accept Railroad Retirement Board Medicare cards.
