Bereavement Services Available Through Hospice.
The loss of a family member or friend can place a terrible stress upon the survivor. As we work our way through the tangle of feelings that arise, we cope with our losses in many different ways. The road to healing and feeling whole again is a learning journey. To help with this journey the Clarion Forest Visiting Nurse Association Hospice offers a variety of support services.
Who is eligible?
CFVNA Hospice Bereavement service is a community resource available to anyone with a loss through death.
Services available?
Individual Sessions - a counselor can meet with adults, children, teens, or families impacted by the death of a loved one.
Grief support groups are held the first Tuesday of the month at the Carriage Inn Restaurant in Knox, PA. Men's Breakfast 9:30am - 11:30am, while the Ladies Lunch from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. The meetings and meals are provided free of charge to participants.
Community educational programs - a host of topics are available or one may be tailored to meet the needs of your group.
Are there fees for any of the services?
Clarion Forest VNA Hospice is a member agency of United Way of Clarion County. A generous United Way grant to the bereavement services allows CFVNA Hospice to offer these programs and services at no cost to the participants.
